CHDM作为二元醇主要用于生产各种聚酯和共聚多酯，如PETG、PCT、PCTG、PCTA等，用于制造聚酯纤维、聚酯电器用具、不饱和聚酯树脂、聚酯釉料、聚氨酯泡沫塑料等。还可以用来生产涂料（卷刚涂料&粉末涂料），能够提高卷刚涂料的耐寒耐候性和涂层表面的光泽性。
CHDM is mainly used in polyester section, polyester fibers ,unsaturated polyester resin,such as PETG, PCT, PCTG, PCTA, etc. which could enhance the reactivity in polyester compounds and improve the hydrolytic stability, plasticity, gloss, transparency, printability, process ability of polymer.CHDM could also be used in coating application(powder coating), which could enhance low temperature resistance & weather ability of coating, and improve the gloss.
