乙酸异丙酯微溶于水，可以与醇、酮、醚等多数溶剂混溶，有“万能溶剂”之称， 对多种合成树脂及天然树脂具有优良的溶解能力。可用于皮革涂层、皮革PU树脂合成，高档油墨，涂料等的溶剂；还可用作回收醋酸的脱水剂等。
IPAE has excellent ability to dissolve avariety of synthetic resin and natural resin. It can be used as solvents forleather coating, PU synthetic leather, high grade printing ink, paint. It canbe used for recovery of acetic acid dehydrating agent, extracting agent inpharmacy.
